Karyssa Miller

First and foremost, I am an Artist!

I use my creative, intuitive style and colorist sensibilities to create custom works of floral artistry. Each design is a unique masterpiece that combines my artistic vision with your specific needs and preferences. I take great pride in my ability to craft floral arrangements that are not only visually stunning but also emotionally resonant, capturing the spirit and essence of your event in every bloom. Whether you're looking for a bold and dramatic centerpiece or a delicate and romantic bouquet, I am dedicated to creating a floral experience that exceeds your expectations and truly moves you.

What my clients say about me

  • I exceed expectations & I go above and beyond.

  • I am a dream and easy to work with.

  • Always the professional

  • I am flexible with my clients.

  • I am extremely organized and love details.

  • You don’t have to worry about a thing. I will deliver on what you are looking for.

I love being an artist. My first love and passion were in textile hand weaving, which means I hand-make fabric on large floor looms. I have been weaving for just about 40 years. I have always been super crafty and creative. I learned how to weave at Peninsula School, Menlo Park, California, where I attended. I am also a ceramist and basket maker, creating small beaded sculptures. Below are some images of my artwork in textiles, ceramics & beadwork.

I bring all my years of experience in retail sales/management, event production/management, professional organization, and personal assistant work to my work as a florist.

I earned my Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri, with a double major in fiber and ceramics, and then Master's studies in Fine Art Textiles at Kent State University in Ohio. I’m a certified Master textile handweaver(TM).

I still create woven artwork and show regularly at City Art Gallery in The Mission, San Francisco, California

Karyssa is not only so incredibly talented, she is truly the sweetest person. I absolutely loved working/planning with her! She brought my vision for my wedding to life.. and She was able to bring even the smallest details to life in the most beautiful ways.

My Team

I have a small team of amazing assistants for day-of-production. I typically have 1 to 2 assistants at an event to support me in making your dream floral decor come to life.

Shannon Ratay

Shannon has worked with me since 2021 and is my main assistant. Shannon is always super excited to see what new creations we are working with each new event.

“I have always loved flowers. Growing up I would collect Queen Anne's Lace from the field across the street for bouquets. This grown up little girl is in heaven helping bring Karyssa's vision & creations to life.”

Jenny Michel

Jenny has worked with me since 2021. A native of the Peninsula Bay Area, Jenny has a professional background in facility operations and management, fine dining, and event production. In other words, she loves working behind the scenes to help create a specific atmosphere and service experience for her clients.

Arriving at a wedding location with Karyssa is one of Jenny's favorite aspects of the big day. The ceremony and reception sites are being set-up… all of a sudden, the flowers arrive. The magic of each client’s wedding starts to unfold. The story of the bride and groom comes together with the floral decor. The joy of celebrating a sacred commitment to love someone is magical and expressed through the flowers.

Her second favorite aspect of the day is seeing the bride with her bridal bouquet for the first time. That feeling holding your bouquet is indescribable and unforgettable. Jenny looks forward to assisting in creating the magic of your special day with Karyssa!

Let’s celebrate your love together.

Jody Troxel

Jody has worked with me since 2020, when I became a full-time florist. He is always willing to support me in any way he can.

“Working with Karyssa is so much fun. She is always well-prepared and able to meet any need. It's amazing to see someone's wedding vision come to life through Karyssa's hard work.”
